Flickr does a day in the life of shoot every once in a while. Today was the first one since I found Flickr so I toated my camera around with me. Since the bulk of my day was spent at work, there isn't really too much to see... Monday is usually just me being at work.

So I didn't expect much, but there are some intersting things that happen as the day goes by. I ended up taking over 150 photos (mostly crap really) but right now there are about a dozen on flickr. I'm likely to add more.

Whitewater Rafting
We had a corporate outing yesterday to the Penrith Whitewater Stadium (built for the 2000 Sydney Olympics.) I don't have an underwater housing, so I left the camera at home - there were a handful of cameras there and one of my colleagues grabbed this photo of me NOT white water rafting. See the raft to the left; the one that's upside down? That would be ours. See the guy in the water; getting pulled to shore with a rope? That would be me. And I had an absolute blast!

I'm getting caught up on photos taken while Amy's mom was down under. These photos are from the Sydney Stitch N Bitch - I tagged along to drop off a CD full of reception photos for web-godess. That's her knitting on the pub floor with my mother-in-law's feet in the background. Hmm, sitting on a pub floor, it just occured to me how brave kris the web-godess is...

Friday night was the wedding reception for web-godess and Rodd. They were married in Las Vegas (were all the best weddings are held) back in November. The Aussie reception was held on Sunday and they asked me to shoot some photos.
