not what you're thinking
While it looks like the Wedge-Tailed Eagle is going after the much smaller Noisy Miner it's definitely the other way around (at least I think it's a Noisy Miner - could be a Myna.) The 'locals' at the Taronga Zoo were not at all impressed by the Eagle during the Free Flight Bird Show. Shame it was overcast - all the in flight photos ended up silloetted. I was pleased that I managed to get most of them in focus.

It's an Australian Magpie, there's an image from google of one in flight here, the wing pattern is the same. http://www.komcyclery.com.au/catalog/images/Magpie%20attack.JPG :P
It's a shame about the silhouetting, otherwise, fantastic capture. When you compare the Wedgie to the size of the Magpie... it's easy to appreciate just how big they are.
