bangkok peak hour
Walking through Bangkok's Chit Lom train station (on our way to the night markets) and the Thai National Anthem came one over loud speakers. Everyone in the entire crowded, hectic, urban train station (and I mean everyone) stopped moving while the anthem played. (I had to be prompted by the colleague with me.) Weird does not even begin to describe it. Had I been alone I would have thought I walked into a sci-fi movie.
