from the Suvarnabhumi Airport - Bangkok
ahh, free wireless internets and a Dairy Queen Blizard. What could possibly be better. OK - maybe coffee, but I wanna sleep on this flight tonight - and no luck with a business class upgrade :(
I'm actively downloading pix from one camera to the laptop - I'll do some editing of I can't sleep on the flight. I did a bus tour around the old parts of Bangkok and visited a few temples. Of course it ended at a gift shop. I wasn't keen on buying gems and the place just seemed like a big tourist trap - since I didn't bother buying anything the driver they gave me to take me back to my hotel took me to the wrong Holiday Inn. Jerks. He got it right in the end.
Update: The DQ manager is doing job interviews at the next table. I can see the candidates face over my notebook. This one's really nervous, more so than the last (who kept looking at me, but I didn't pick up on what's going on.) Then there's the other guys stuffing fries into his mouth - sitting basically next to the candidate. Dude - do you have an office you could do this in? Or maybe this is all a test to see if the candidates get put off by such distractions - na, not for a DQ job. I have my headphones on so I can't hear - it would be in Thai anyway.
