Congratulations to my sister Nikki and her boyfriend, oops, i mean her fiance Tim who got engaged last weekend! Whoo! Hoo!

you call that a counter offer?

Well the "counter offer" on our offer was way, way, way high. So we're taking the walk away tactic. It's a bummer but well see in a few weeks if it's still on the market or if the price drops. Or - maybe bad luck for them and well find an even better place!

Virginia Anderson

My last surviving grandparent passed away this weekend, aged 92 years. She's been ill for a while and passed peacefully in her bed. This is probably my favourite photograph of her - as it was told to me this portrait was taken when she was named 'Miss Rockford' - the year must have been around 1933 (this print isn't dated.) I need to restore the cracks and smudges... I have her wedding portrait with Kelly and will post this soon.
