outdoor climbing - finally

finally a break in the weather got us outside. still wasn't the greatest weather - high winds kept us off the routes we went to Nowra for. Amy found a nice little crag (about 8 meters high I think) that was sheltered (a little) from the wind and in the sun. The highlight for me was actually falling off a grade 16 called 'Puppy' (that's around 5.8) - mostly my foot just slipped but this was the first lead fall I've taken outside for a very long time. no bumps scrapes or bruises. Amy was belaying and gets points for a nice catch. All part of the rebuilding of the confidence I had back in the 90s.
